These two anthologies achieve different levels of success. The omnipresent Guralnick (Last Train to Memphis, Careless Love) has assembled an intriguing group of 35 articles, mostly reprinted from established magazines (e.g., the New York Times, Atlantic Monthly, Vanity Fair) with the intent of informing and entertaining the reader.
