The third installment of Stringer's "Dirty Red" series (after Dirty Red and Still Dirty) picks up with Bacon enacting humiliating revenge upon Red, forcing her to choose death or loyalty to him. Bacon's cruelty eventually breaks Red's resolve, and she resigns herself to being his love slave. Or is her submissiveness a ploy to act out her plans; to be done with Bacon once and for all? Red's scheming is dirtier than ever, but she forgets one major detail: the wrath of Catfish. Verdict Stringer is in good form with this fast-paced, action-packed thriller, and her fans will be sitting on the edge of their seats as they follow her diabolical plot twists.
