K-Gr 4 Out in the country, an abandoned 19th-Century house is about to be demolished. A husband and wife architect team buy the place, have it moved to the city, and renovate it for their home and office. The idea is well handled and may intrigue scientific or artistic children. Tom Shefelman's loosely rendered watercolors glow in beautiful, subtle colors and are rich with informative details, but there are several missed opportunities.
