Gr 8-Up Each of these volumes contains the same, albeit useful, foreword, introduction, and list of prevention and treatment agencies . The reading level varies, but the writing is clear and the illustrations well-employed. The Downside of Drugs covers nicotine, alcohol, narcotics, stimulants, depressants, hallucinogens, and "new" drugs (crack and "designer drugs").
