Gr 3-6 The potential for graphic storytelling to represent the complex stories of these men in a dramatic, cogent presentation is certainly great, but mediocrity in execution diminishes the usefulness of these books. The painted art in "Corté s" seems stiff and outdated, conveying the narrative while making little use of the emotional possibilities inherent in the comic format.
