In Two Bobbies, Kirby Larson and Mary Nethery address the loss inflicted by Hurricane Katrina in a way that will be accessible to young readers. The challenges and dangers that Bob Cat and Bobbi face are presented matter-of-factly, as are the two friends’ efforts to survive. The effect, however, is extremely touching.
