Here are three books on the same topic but with radically different contents. Two tell personal tales of addiction and rehabilitation, while the third is a parents' guide to "drug-proofing.'' This guide, somewhat didactic in tone, offers numerous activities for improving children's self-esteem, decision-making skills, assertiveness, and resistance to peer pressure.
