Gr 4-7 Clearly written, thoughtful, and detailed, this biography is rich with well-researched Wright lore, much of which will be familiar to many readers. Yet McPherson carefully tells a full and complete story, managing to include some tidbits that other biographers for children may have put aside. She concludes with a nod to astronaut Neil Armstrong, who carried a piece of the Wright 1903 Flyer to the moon in 1969.
