This book is actually two stories for the price of one. The first chapter introduces eighteen-year-old Darcy Patel. She's just written her first YA novel, signed a huge advance, and moved to New York City, forgoing college. Chapter two takes place at an airport -- where a startlingly violent terrorist attack unfolds before the eyes of narrator Lizzie.
