Grade PreS-KCost Pricing for Gale's Miss Humblebee's Academy is based on the size of the population served or a school's full-time enrollment. Miss Humblebee's Academy for Schools starts at $500 for a one-year subscription. District pricing is also an option. Miss Humblebee's Academy for public libraries (gale.com/mha), which starts at $900 for a one-year subscription, is also available.Content Miss Humblebee is a benevolent, grandmotherly insect who hovers in front of the chalkboard, the portal for each new lesson. The questions in the lessons are multiple choice. When students answer correctly, Miss Humblebee responds with encouragement ("Awesome!" "You're Great!"). When children answer incorrectly, the narrator gently replies, "Oops, try again!" All lessons have auditory cues, so users don't need to be able to read in order to use this product. It is a safe and secure operation, with no pop-ups, ads, or external links.The screen layout is clean and well organized, with a palette of ivory, gray, lavender, and earth tones.Topics such as emotional balance (the pick-the-correct-emotion-for-the-situation lesson), taking care of the planet (the song "The Earth"), and hygiene (the math game of sorting tubes of toothpaste and bars of soap) are subtly woven into the curriculum.Several subjects are covered: language and literacy, science and social studies, art, math, and music.
